Pula, Croatia
95 degrees
First full day in Croatia. Started out at a wakeboard course where Andy and the kids have a go at it. Then some cliff diving 30 feet up. Yep, my kids had to go to the top 🤦🏻♀️ and then go swim into a cave. That's them getting ready to jump. BTW, they barely hesitate. They check that it is safe and just go for it.
Time to find a restaurant. A simple request to be able to order some food and let the kids swim. First getting there looked like a snowy drive. It looked like a dusting of snow everywhere, but it was dust! All the foliage, cars and people that were walking were the same shade, the shade of white, fine dust! Safari Restaurant was the most bizarre restaurant!More then my mind could have imagined. It is literally in the middle of no where, yet on the edge of the Earth with crazy shaped huts and tables, low dead but cool foliage hanging overhead and cargo nets, a dog bar, giant swings, whacky slide, human hamster wheel, tightropes, sangria served in big Tupperware bowls and giant ladles and so much more that the mind couldn't absorb. I seriously felt like I was in that scene from Star Wars where they went in the bar and everything was just crazy looking, no joke!
Finished off with an unbelievable Roman Coliseum two blocks from where we are staying.
