Pit:  Our overnight sleeper train being canceled and no one telling us until we were on it.  

 

Peak: the sausage from the van in the early morning hours, exploring the streets with no place to be while enjoying all the nooks and crannies of neighborhoods. Sitting in the hot tub on our hotel rooftop taking a moment of peace before the big days ahead. Taking in all the beauty the city had to offer.

 

Points: Book a private tour of Auschwitz. Being able to ask in depth questions was worth it. Take the train there and back. It is around $4 and very easy to take. Make time to just wander the streets.

 

Andy: 

Pit: All black hotel and bus ride in the middle of the night to Hungry

Peak: Rooftop hot tub

Points: Get the sausage from the van! Don't be afraid of the super dark ride from the airport to the town. You are not being kidnaped. Jewish Holocaust points were hard to see, but glad we did.
