Pits, Peaks, and Points –Belize Edition

Pits, Peaks, and Points –Belize  Edition

Cindy

Pits: Not much sun

Peaks: Lobster, conch, and more lobster and conch!

Points: bring bug spray with deet and baby oil to put over it. If you plan to explore the Mayan ruins, go early before the hot sun and tourists. You can get a private ferry boat from the air port area to San Pedro. Eugene Bully was a fantastic captain out of San Pedro. He made us the best conch ceviche!

Andy

Pits: The weather didn’t slow us down but could have been better

Peaks: Lobster diving, Marie Sharps, fry jacks, well priced meals, Placencia vibe, climbing the Mayan ruins

Points: 3 stops of St Ignacio, Placencia and Amergris was the perfect itinerary, have to do a boat charter, go there before it over develops, skip chicken poo bingo, all the grocery stores are Chinese owned, airport ferry island transfer was a lot, a smile and some friendliness goes along way with the locals

Saylor

Pits: mosquitoes

Peaks: snorkeling for conch and lobster and Mayan runins

Points: bring long legged pants and shirts for bugs

Hudson

Pits: weather

Peaks: fishing

Points:
